Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, August 1, 2017, Alison Roberts Stone, 77, wife of the late Jim Finrick Stone.
Mrs. Stone was born in England but was a resident of Augusta for many years. She loved to play bingo at American Legion Post 205 and Jack C. Fortune Post Fraternal Order of Eagle #1197. Mrs. Stone worked at Precision Tune on Gordon Hwy. for over 20 years. Alison was the best mom and grandmother in the world.
Family members include daughters: Gail Marsh of Hephzibah, Karen Stone of Augusta; grandchildren: Jessica Marsh-Hamilton, Jack Marsh, II, Ashley Sikes, Tony Duford, Jim Stone; great grandchildren: Chase, Issak, Cooper and Alexandria; sister: Pauline Adams; and brother: John Roberts.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
