Augusta, GA – Mr. Francisco “Frank” Caneda, Jr., entered into rest Sunday, January 7, 2018. Mr. Caneda was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and has been a resident of Augusta for over 50 years. He was a member of Vineyard Church of Augusta. Frank will always be remembered as a loving husband and father, an accomplished musician, and an avid Falcons and Bulldogs fan.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria, his parents, Francisco Sr. and Epifania Caneda, his brother, Jonathan W. Caneda, and his sister, Doreen S. Caneda.
Family members include his sons, Daniel B. Caneda of Athens, GA and Scott S. Caneda of Graniteville, SC, a daughter, Tiffany C. Caneda of Graniteville, SC, sisters, Stephanie Moseley (Tim) of Evans, GA, and Cynthia Ferris (Darrell) of Colleyville, TX, brother, Brian Caneda (Kim) of Charleston, SC, and many nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Reese LeRoy officiating. The family would like any of the musicians who played with Frank over the years to act as Honorary Pallbearers.
