Evans, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, August 5, 2017, Mrs. Geraldine Curtis Nelson, 81, loving wife to William D. Nelson.
Mrs. Nelson was a native of Oklahoma City but has resided in Evans for several years.
“The heartache and trouble of this world are over and I am in the safe and secure arms of the Lord.”
Family members, in addition to her husband, include her children: David Rivers Parker and wife Karen, Terry Ann McBride and husband Bill, Janet Gale Young and husband Rodney; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren: and brothers: JB Curtis and Stanley Foyle Curtis. She is preceded in death by her parents: Earnest and Marie Curtis; and brothers: Jesse Henry Curtis and Bruce Robert Curtis.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Warren Baptist Church with Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Burial will be in Oklahoma at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be the Joyful Women’s Sunday School Class.
