Evans, Ga – Entered into rest on May 24, 2017 at Brandon Wilde, Mr. Gerard A. Bongiovanni, loving husband to the late Madeline S. Bongiovanni.

Family members include: daughters: Patricia (Jay), Madeline (Hal) and Jeriann (Ron) and 7 grandchildren: Andrew (Joanne), Maura, Kallie, Blair, William, Ellie and Jack.

Jerry was born in Hoboken, NJ. He attended Demarest High School in Hoboken and then New York University's School of Commerce Accounting and Finance; graduating with a B.S. degree in Personnel Management. He subsequently completed an Executive Controls Program at Syracuse University. He went on to enjoy a 35 year career with E.R Squibb & Sons, Inc: First as a pharmaceutical detailman, then a full line representative, a division manager, group product director for animal health, Northeast regional sales director, vice president corporate for Surgicot which was a Squibb company. Also vice president and general manager for Wayne Ferrell also a Squibb company and vice president and national accounts director for Weck Surgical instruments, also a Squibb company. He was a member of Surgicot's Board of Directors, an associate member of the American Pharmaceutical Society and a member of the Sales Executive Club of New York. Jerry was a very proud veteran of World War II having served in the US Navy. He was a board member of Spring Brook Country Club in Morristown, New Jersey as well as Venice Golf and Country Club in Venice Florida, having relocated with Madeline to Florida in July 1989. They were also members of The Oaks Country Club in Sarasota Florida, Harbor Hills CC in Port Jefferson NY and West Lake CC in Augusta Ga.
