Evans, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, June 29, 2017, Mrs. Juanita M. Dennis, 90, wife of the late Marvin L. Dennis.

Mrs. Dennis was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a devoted Christian and member of Christ Episcopal Church. Mrs. Dennis was a wonderful, supportive, and loving mother and grandmother. As a computer programmer at IBM for many years, Mrs. Dennis balanced both a successful career and family. Her children were her highest priority. Blessed with beauty and talent, she had a variety of interests that included being an award winning bowler, arts and crafts and a strong passion for oil painting, needlework and crotchet. Mrs. Dennis also enjoyed fishing, particularly with her daughter, Sharon. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Family members include daughters: Sharon Tomlin (Cecil), Nancy Dennis, Margaret Ann Dennis Smith (fiancée, Douglas Lambert); grandchildren: Steven Tomlin (Diane). Andrea Scherm (Robert), Amy Harriman (Jason), Mark Pollock, Meg Stuard (Blake), Trey Fowke, Ashley Carter (Charlie); great grandchildren: Ali Tomlin, Fischer Tomlin, Katie Martin, Chandler Martin, Lennon Rose Stuard, Christopher Carter; other grandchildren include: Kelly Terzia, Caleb Smith, Cole Smith; and sister: Margaret Ivey. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Lucia Maloney.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 3, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Christ Episcopal Church with Fr. Curtis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
