Augusta, GA - Entered into rest Wednesday, July 19, 2017, Kevin Gerard Kelly, in Augusta, Georgia, after a valiant ten year battle with cancer.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Marianne Kelly; father in law: John Brooks. He is survived by his wife of 37 years: Shannon Brooks Kelly; daughters: Emily Kelly-Hollier (Mark), Sarah Charlotte Kelly; sisters: Nancy Leahy, Diane Cavazos (Dan), Karen Ryan (Kevin); nineteen cherished nieces and nephews; and his mother in law: Marjorie Evans Brooks.

A 1977 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, Kevin spent five years as an active duty Army officer. Upon completion of his military service, he made a career as a financial advisor. An avid runner, Kevin completed the New York and Boston marathons.

A funeral mass will be Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Burial will immediately follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Veritas Preparatory School, 275 McLaws Circle, Williamsburg, VA, 23185.
