Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, September 16, 2017, Mrs. Mary Morgan Bentley, 91, loving wife of 72 years to the late Albert R. Bentley.
Mrs. Bentley was a native of Macon but has lived in Augusta for over 60 years. She worked with her husband at Bentley Office Machine for a number of years. She loved animals, gardening, and the beach. Mrs. Bentley adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Family members include her daughter: Rosemary B. Smith and husband Clark; son: David Bentley and wife Martine; grandchildren: Allison McKinley and husband Earl, Paula Smallwood and husband Allen, Laura Bentley, Susan Mitchell and husband Brian, and Joseph Bentley; and six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Albert “Rusty” Bentley, Jr., and sister, Rose McCranie Kitchen.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Ed Rees and Rev. Robert F. Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
