Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, April 11, 2017, Mrs. Mary Margaret Harris, 58, wife of 42 years to Mr. Robert. “Bobby” S. Harris.
Mrs. Harris was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She was a member of Solomon’s Porch Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Harris loved life and helping others. Mrs. Harris was employed by Walton Options where she worked as peer support for the blind.
Family members in addition to her husband include son: Benjamin F. Harris III; her mother: Genevieve Sanders; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Stephen Black officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luis Guzman, Riley Guzman, Eddie Bishop, Rick Murphy, Jerry Murphy and Chris Scott.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Solomon’s Porch Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2314 Old Savannah Rd, Augusta, GA 30906.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at
