Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, December 13, 2107, Mary Lou Turner, 80, loving wife of Richard Lynn Turner.

Mrs. Turner was born in Atlanta and eventually became a longtime resident of Evans. She graduated from Georgia State College for Women and earned her Masters from Auburn University. Employed as a Media Specialist at Academy of Richmond County, a librarian at Medical College of Georgia and a Media Librarian at Madigan Army Hospital. She was a very loving mother and wife.

Family members, in addition to her husband, include sons: Robert E. Jackson, Jr. (Kristin) of Atlanta, Brian T. Jackson of Augusta; grandchildren: Todd Jackson and Chloe Jackson.

The funeral service will be Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Church Presbyterian with Rev. Charles Stakley officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers charitable contributions should be made to Heritage Academy, 333 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
