Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Friday, November 17, 2017, Sheri Lynn Luthi, 58, loving wife of Gregg William Luthi for 32 years.

Sheri was preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Algeo. Family members, in addition to her husband, include: her adoptive parents Carol and Gary Jones; brothers Chris Algeo (Mary) and Craig Jones (Gina); sister Carrie Jones; niece Rachel Algeo; nephew Ryan Algeo; beloved dog Lulu; and many other loving family members and friends.

Sheri was born in Covina, California where she traveled the state with her father and brother. With the passing of her father at age 12, she and her brother moved to Michigan to live with her father’s sister and her husband, Carol and Gary, who graciously and generously raised her and her brother as their own.

Sheri attended Oakland Community College in Michigan where she received an Associate Degree in Psychology. Her passion was in adolescent rehabilitation of children and young adults experiencing alcohol or drug addiction. She and her husband Gregg moved to Georgia in 1985, where they maintained their residence.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Sheri’s Life on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son. A memorial service will follow in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Robert Hunt officiating.
