Appling, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, November 19, 2017, Mr. Thomas Marshall McMillan, 92, loving husband to the late Brigitte “Gertraude” Schwarze McMillan.
Mr. McMillan was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II and the Korean War. His greatest passion was square dancing and was a past member of several local square dance clubs. He continued to ball room dance until just days before his death.
Family members include his son: Timothy B. McMillan (Susan); grandson: Christian Weathers; granddaughter: Leah Walls; and companion: Liz Sanders. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his mother: Lola Lee Wilson McMillan; father: William R. McMillan; stepmother: Louise McMillan; brothers: William and Floyd McMillan; and sister: Joyce Strickland.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Augusta Warrior Project, 701 Greene St., Suite 104, Augusta, GA 30901.
