Augusta, GA – Alexis D. Hankinson, 29, entered into rest Monday, January 28, 2019.
Alexis graduated from the special education program at Josey High School and attended the Berry Center. She loved watching her favorite show, Barney, and enjoyed dogs and riding in the truck. She loved life and loved everybody she came in contact with.
Family members include her parents: Albert and Kathie Hankinson; brother: BJ Hankinson; aunt: Susie Thigpen (David); and several extended family members. She is preceded in death by her mother, Beverly D. Hankinson, and brother, Albert Stewart Hankinson.
The funeral service will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Chad Crews officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Stevenson, David Thigpen, Billy Williford, Brett Cooper, Jody Jenson, and David Laws.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Berry Center, 3017 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30909.
