Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, April 1, 2022 surrounded by her family, Mrs. Alvera Dozier Jones, 92, loving wife of the late Osric Jones, Jr. Alvera was a native of Cape Canaveral, FL and was the last of 9 children. She was the Lifeline Coordinator at Cape Canaveral Hospital for 20 years. Family members include her daughter: Norma Palmer Calabrese (Tom); grandchildren: Michael Palmer (Jenn), Ashlee Palmer, and Cindy Palmer Bachelder; and 5 great grandchildren: Palmer Bachelder, Lawson Bachelder, Maggie Walker Bachelder, Haylee Palmer and Zack Palmer. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Jones. The family will have a memorial service at a later date in Cape Canaveral, FL.
