Evans, GA – Mr. David Austin Hardy, 46, entered into rest Sunday, March 27, 2022. Austin was a graduate of Lakeside High School and of Georgia Southern University where he was also a member of the KA fraternity. He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid hunter, and loved spending time with his son. Family members include his son: Davis Austin Hardy; parents: Ann and Wayne Hardy; brother: Taylor Hardy (Tina); sister: Samantha DeLappe (Steven); nieces and nephews: Abby Westbrook-Hardy, Hardy, Hudson, and Anna Grace DeLappe, Chandler and Raina Hardy; and many extended family members. The memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Storey Chapel at First Baptist Church of Augusta with Rev. Will Dyer officiating. The family will receive friends in the lobby of the fellowship hall from 10:00 until 10:45 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Ext, Augusta, GA 30909. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
