Brittany was a 2008 graduate of Greenbrier High School. She attended Augusta State University.

Family members include her soulmate of 11 years Joshua Patton, her father: Laurence Walter Wales, Palos Heights, IL; mother: Kathryn Elizabeth Harvey and stepfather: James Carter Harvey of Richmond Hill, GA; Brother: Nicholas Laurence Wales Ali Al Salem Airforce Base, Kuwait; stepsisters: Kelly Marie Harvey and Melanie Lynn Harvey of Augusta, GA; Grandparents: Orville and LaVerne Cole of Garnett, KS and many other cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Walter and Suzanne Wales, Palos Heights, IL.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. An inurnment will be on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Garnett, KS at the Garnett cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations be made to The Hope House, P.O. Box 3597, Augusta, Ga. 30914.
