Chad Watkins

Martinez, GA – Chandler “Chad” Aaron Bennett Watkins, 33, entered into rest Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Chandler attended Lakeside High School and was involved with the “We Ski” program at Lake Thurmond. He enjoyed going to the mall to see all who knew him. He touched the lives of many people across the Augusta area and was sent from the Lord to serve a special purpose.

Family members include his parents: Darryl and Rhonda Watkins; maternal grandparents: Ronald and Jenny Bennett; paternal grandparents: Robert and Brenda Faye Watkins; aunts and uncles: Ashley Fehrman (Jeff), Mark Watkins (Michelle), Kevin Watkins, Lisa Price (Roger), Carol Goodman, Pat Young, Tommy (Kathy) Boyles and David (Wendy) Sellars; and cousins: Bailey Watkins, Shelby Watkins, Justin Price, Brandon Price, Katie Edmonds, Sadler Watkins, Grayson Watkins, and Cameryn Cook. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Jennifer Watkins.

The funeral service will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Roy McVeigh officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brandon Price, Justin Price, Brent Watkins, Clay Goodwin, Bailey Edmonds and Bobby Young.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, 1446 Harper Street, Augusta, GA 30912.
