Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, September 20, 2018, Mr. Charles E. Swindol, 83, loving husband to Pamela Aycock Swindol.

Mr. Swindol was a native of Tupelo, Mississippi. Following high school graduation Charles joined the United States Army where he proudly served in Vietnam and retired with 20 years of service. He was raised as an Ole Miss fan but became a UGA fan in later years. Mr. Swindol loved hunting, fishing and painting art.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his daughters: Jackie Swindol Brooks (Ray), and Jennifer Swindol Moxley (Edward); sons: Paul David Swindol (Elaine), Thomas Grover Swindol (Carla), and Terry Raymond Swindol (Rebecca); stepson: J.J. Morris (Amber); 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service with full military honors will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
