Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, September 15, Clare Reichert Read, 94, loving wife of 63 years to Elwood “Woody” Read.
Clare was a native of New Jersey. She was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Family members in addition to her husband include her daughters: Clare Heffner (Carl, Jr.) and Alison Read; grandchildren: Carl Heffner III (Karen), Valerie Heffner and Angelica Thraikill; great-grandchildren: Ian Pusey, Alexander Heffner, Gavin Pusey, Theodore Heffner and Reagan Heffner; sister: Nancy Armstrong. She is preceded in death by her parents, and nine siblings.
The funeral services will be private.
