Dalton Reed Harnage

Atlanta, GA – Dalton Reed Harnage, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2022 at his home in Atlanta, GA .
Dalton was originally from Enigma, GA but then moved to Augusta, GA with his family where he completed high school at Grovetown High. Dalton could light up any room when he made an entrance. If not for the smile on his face, those piercing blue eyes would get you. He was an artistic child who loved the arts. From drawing and painting, to singing and acting. He was always running around the house singing and dancing, even at a young age. Dalton loved to sing along with every song that came on the radio, and if you ever rode with him in a car, you know this. He participated in choir and theater in school, eventually trying out for and becoming a member of the Augusta Players, Jr., and the Augusta Players.
Dalton not only loved to perform but was fascinated with the costumes and theatrical hair and makeup. This may have been where styling hair became his passion. He started to work as an assistant to a stylist, then as an apprentice, and eventually became a master stylist, even building his own business, Dalton’s Dolls. His love for his craft was evident in the relationships he built with his clientele. He worked his hair magic from Atlanta to New York, from Miami to LA. The sky was the limit for Dalton and now, he’s flying high with the angels. Dalton’s no longer with us on this earth, but he lives on in our hearts forever.
Dalton is survived by his mother and stepdad: Dana and David Williams: his father and stepmom: Henry and Debbie Harnage; brother, Brett Harnage (Jennifer) and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
