Dennis Cain

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021, Dennis Gerald Cain, 73.

Dennis was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed coaching softball, watching Nascar and was a big LSU fan.

Family members include his daughter: Kim Cain; grandchildren: William Cain (Allison), Thomas Cain, Catherine Cain, Jacob Cain, Charlotte Cain; great-granddaughter: Lilah Cain; companion: Cherry Long-McDeermond; canine companion: Allie; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his first and second wives: Cissy Peters Cain, Doris Elaine Rutti Cain; son: Scott Cain and brother: Richard Cain.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son, with Rev. Robert Lehn officiating. Interment will be Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, GA.
