Donald Roupp

Augusta, GA - Mr. Donald Roupp, 80, went to meet Jesus on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 with his family by his side.
A native of Mansfield, PA, Don was the son of the late Laverne and Alberta Roupp. Don is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, MaryAnn, sons John Roupp (Lori) and Jeffrey Roupp (Christina), grandson Travis John Roupp, great grandchildren Briauna, Damien and Chad Roupp, sisters Loni Lair and Judy Greer, and brothers Robert Roupp, Jim Roupp, Rick Roupp and Doug Roupp; he is preceded in death by his brother David Roupp and his sister Beverly Scott.
Don worked hard his whole life. After graduating high school, he served his country in the Navy from 1960-1964. He then worked for over 20 years at American Bridge in industrial radiography as an X-Ray and ultrasonic engineer, during which time he helped build and inspect many bridges on the East Coast which are still standing. During that same time he operated Don’s Auto Body Repair in Big Flats, NY. Subsequently, he worked for Bechtel Power Corp as a QC welding engineer in Pottstown PA, then at SRS as a civil engineer, and finally at The Eye Guys as the maintenance coordinator.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 14 at 11am at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Interment will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
