Augusta, Ga. - Entered into rest on Friday, July 7, 2017, Mrs. Dora Sellers Smith, wife of 49 years to the late Frank C. Smith.

Other family members include her daughters: Julie Smith Neal and husband, Bob, Janet Smith Cox and husband, Mark, Joni Smith Kirkwood and husband, Scott; grandchildren: Michelle Renée Kirkwood, Stephen Andrew Kirkwood; great-grandchildren: Aiden Kirkwood, Jack Yount and Kira Yount.

Funeral services will be in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. William Harrell officiating. Entombment will be at Bellevue Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Abilene Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a graduate of Tubman High School. She was a homemaker and was a member of Abilene Baptist Church for over 30 years where she was active in Sunday School and a long time choir member. She was a loving mother and grandmother and great-grandmother.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Abilene Baptist Church Choir, 3917 Washington Road, Martinez, GA 30907.

The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 P.M.
