Martinez, GA – Mrs. Dorothy Johns Buck, 81, went to be with her savior on Monday, October 30, 2017.
Mrs. Buck was born in Thomaston, GA but has lived most of her life in Martinez. She was a member of Abilene Baptist Church.
Family members include her son: Michael Buck (Joy) of North Augusta, SC and grandchildren: Anna, Christina, and Dylan Buck; brothers: Bobby Johns, Gene Johns (Oma), Jimmy Johns (Barbara); sisters: Evelyn Pompa (Ed), Sandra Torres, Shirley Dean (Bob) and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Zora Mae Johns; sister: Louise Sapp; husband: Lawrence “Mickey” Buck; and son: Keith Buck.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Terry Doss officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Abilene Baptist Building Fund, 3917 Washington Rd., Martinez, GA 30907.
