Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, November 10, 2018, Mrs. Dorothy E. Beck Johnson, 97, loving wife of the late William A. Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of First Baptist Church, sang in the senior choir, and was a former member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class. She worked for Belk’s for 16 years before retiring to take care of her mother.

Family members include her sister: Virginia Beck Berry, brother: Bobby C. Beck and wife Ann; and generations of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Storey Chapel of First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Rodger Murchison and Rev. David Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Scott Grice, Neal Grice, Frank Berry, Donald Carter, Kesler Berry, Frank Deroller, and Derek Churchville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. at the church.
