Dorothy Grace Webber

Augusta, GA – Dorothy Grace (Puccio) Webber died on December 8, 2017. She was born February 20, 1928, the youngest of nine children to the late Guytano and Annina Puccio. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Brooke and by her son, Randall.

Dorothy earned a baccalaureate degree in elementary education at Boston University and taught first grade for six years. In 1968, after nine years at Oak Ridge, TN, she moved to Augusta and was employed at J.B. White/Dillard’s, where she was well known as “Miss Dottie.”

Dorothy was skilled in needlework and sewing, was an excellent cook, and was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She recently enjoyed five cruises with groups from First Baptist Church, including Hawaii, Israel, and the Mediterranean coastline.

A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held in the Storey Chapel at First Baptist Church of Augusta on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 7:00PM. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be addressed to the various ministries of First Baptist Church. Our family is especially indebted to the loving nursing assistance of Just Like Family, Inc. during these fifteen months.
