Douglas E. Tice Jr.

Evans, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 15, 2017, Douglas E. Tice, Jr., 29, loving husband of Emilie Marie Slone Tice; step-son: Ian J. Greer; step-daughter: Natalie A. Bellinger; parents: Doug and Kellie Tice; sister: Meredith Tice; brother: Benjamin Tice, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Tice was a native of Augusta, a graduate of Lakeside High School and attended Augusta State University. He was a Sargent with Sizemore Security, working at both Doctors Hospital and Trinity on the Hill Church. Douglas was a consummate professional at work. He loved his wife, parents, family, friends, and his dog Johnnie.

The funeral service will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Ministers Brandon Auten and Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be his close friends. Honorary pallbearers will be fellow workers of Sizemore Security.
