George Oliver Jacobs Jr.

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 21, 2018, Mr. George Oliver Jacobs, Jr., 82.
Mr. Jacobs was born in Mississippi and resided in Martinez, GA. He served 23 years in the United States Army before retiring from civil service at Fort Gordon after 20 years.
Family members include his significant other: Sandy Huffman; sons: Mark A Jacobs of Appling GA, Scott D. Jacobs (Deborah) of Appling, GA; daughter: Melissa Goldstein (Mark) from Duluth, GA; sister: Joyce Jacobs of Picayune, MS; brother: Carlton Jacobs from New Albany, MS; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son: Timothy Andrew Jacobs Sr. and grandson: Timothy Andrew Jacobs, Jr.; his sister: Lois Cosby; and brother: W.L Jacobs.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Bellevue Chapel in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Burial will follow.
