Geraldine Barrows Leach

Mrs. Geraldine Leach, 90 of Evans, Georgia died Saturday, November 4th, 2017 at Thomson Heath and Rehabilitation in Thomson, Georgia. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Floyd Delmer Leach and a son, Lewin Dee Leach.
Geraldine was born in Missouri on April 8th, 1927 to Levi Abbott Barrows and Marie Amelia Wollam Barrows. She spent her early years in Kahoka, Missouri where she graduated from Clark County High School. Geraldine and Floyd were married in Kirksville, Missouri on December 7th, 1946.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Evans, Georgia where she was involved with the Adult Sunday School class. She made great friends at her Silver Sneakers exercise class and enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Leach is survived by a son, Newton Dale Leach and his wife, Mary Louise Leezer Leach; a daughter, Kimberly Lee Leach and partner Jerry Jones. Her grandchildren are Sarah Harper Scott, Micah Abbott Leach and his wife April Dawn Johnson Leach, Rachel Bennett Leach, Justin Joseph Roybal and wife Amanda Hicks Roybal and Joel Patrick Roybal.
Geraldine “GG” – to her great-grandchildren; Anna Harper Scott, Brooklyn Grace Leach and Bryan Christian Dean, as well as Lille Ann, Kaylee Mae, Alesia Brooklynn, Liam Joseph and Hunter Ramsay Roybal.
She was also proceeded in death by her parents and siblings; Harold Leroy Barrows, Thera Allen Barrows, Lester Howard Barrows, Norman Mark Barrows, Carolyn Kay Barrows Doeing Underwood and Ina Lou Barrows Wendling Wray. She was also preceded in death by sister-in-law Sandra Jane Russell Barrows. Geraldine is also survived by her siblings Roland Guy Barrows, Ray Lee Barrows and Marilyn Barrows Zinnert. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters-in-law; Beverly Gutting Barrows, Coleen Goodson Barrows Hancock, Anita Richey Barrows and Nadine Hand Barrows.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 2pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka, Missouri, Wilson Funeral Service will oversee memorial arrangements.
