Stapleton, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, July 23, 2017, Mrs. Pearl Gertrude Boone, 90, loving wife of 62 years to the late Clifford Gordon Boone.
Mrs. Boone was born in Boston, MA and was a member of Wrens United Methodist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Family members include her daughter: Linda Diane Boone Lindley and husband Frank of Augusta; grandchildren: Jack Boone Lindley (Claire) and Adam Nicholas Lindley; great grandchildren: Raegan and Jackson Bradford; many nieces and nephews including Sharon Hoffman and Sherry Mistak.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Stan Littleton officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jack Boone Lindley, Adam Nicholas Lindley, Matthew Hoffman, Ronnie Ligon, Nick Nesbitt, and Chuck Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP Dr., Suite A, Evans, GA 30809 or to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Dr., Suite 301, Casey, SC 29033.
