Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, June 6, 2019, Gertrude “Trudy” Kapusta Herlong, 87, loving wife of the late John Coy Herlong.
Mrs. Herlong was born in Weisstütten, Germany in 1931. She married John C. Herlong in 1954 and earned her U.S. citizenship in 1958. Mrs. Herlong was the owner of Herlong Fabrics. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Family members include: daughters: Rebecca H. Chase and Joy Herlong Wylds (Ernest); granddaughter: Emily Hayes (John) and her children Hailey, William and Ava; and grandson: Johnathan Michael Chase.
Graveside services will be private.
