Irby C. McCollough Jr.

Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, July 13, 2021, Irby Clyde McCollough, Jr. 56, husband of 30 years to Rebecka McCollough.

Irby, also known as “Todd” to certain family members, was a native of Geneva, Alabama. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family. A devoted and supportive military spouse, Irby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, panning for gold, and playing video games on his cellphone. Proud of his Alabama roots, Irby was an Auburn football fan. He also liked watching Nascar and MMA fights. Ultimately, he cherished the many memories made with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Family members in addition to his wife include his sons: Cleveland Eli McCollough (Martha), the late Samuel McCollough, and the late Gregory McCollough; daughters: Victoria Shaffer (Travis), Kelly Bradley (Billy); grandchildren: Nevayah Schneider, Hayden, Mason and Jasper McCollough, Jacobi and Kaylee Shaffer, and McKenzie McFarlane; mother: the late Linda Ann Galloway; father: Irby C. McCollough Sr. (Grace); sisters: Rebecca Riley (Clay), Carla Dunbar (Joe), Kathy McCollough (Carol), Georginna Mills; sister-in-law: Caroline Dulin (Edward) and many other loving family members.

A Celebration of Life service for Irby will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. at the Beach House at Mistletoe State Park.
