Irvin "Mack" Stephens

Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, Irvin McDaniel “Mack” Stephens, 84.

Mack was born in Odum, GA. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mack was a loving and devoted companion, father and grandfather.

Family members include his daughter: Tammy Aveille (Michael); son: Chad Stephens (Virginia); longtime love and companion: Nell Overcash; grandchildren: Michael Aveille, Kayla Aveille, Melody Stephens, Jesse Stephens, John Stephens, and William Stephens; sisters: Alene Hobbs and Patricia Duggan. He was preceded in death by his sons: Irvin McDaniel Stephens, Jr. and David Alton Stephens; parents: Alton and Mary Stephens; and siblings: Doris Perry, Alton Stephens, Harold Stephens and Sandra Duggan.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Ken Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
