Jackie Herrell

Augusta, GA – Jacqueline "Jackie" Herrell, 86, entered into rest Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Jackie was the loving wife to the late Carl L. Herrell.

Jackie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, more affectionately called "Nannie" by her grandsons. She loved flowers, being crafty and decorating for Christmas. She will be remembered in too many ways to count; feisty, spirited, brave, fearless, tender hearted and giving. She will be dearly missed.

Her children include Betty Herrell, Veronica Tarver, and Caroline Walden (Sam); grandsons: Joshua C. Tarver, Matthew W. Tarver, Zachary Walden, and Austin Walden.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Wade Sosebee officiating.

The family would like to thank Christel Akers, her sons, Dylan and Evan Akers, and the rest of the hospice staff and volunteers who cared for and loved on our mom.
