Wrens, GA – Diane Thompson Dixon entered into rest on November 12, 2021 and her beloved husband, James Allen Dixon followed on November 17, 2021 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Diane and Jimmy were married for 59 wonderful years. They will be remembered as loving and devoted parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.

Family members include their son: Wilbur Allen Dixon and wife Bonnie; daughter: Amy Dixon Kershner and husband Richard; grandchildren: Trisha Deuber and husband Ben, Dustin Allen Dixon, Noah Hamilton Kershner and wife Julia and Nicholas Hayden Kershner; great grandchild: Madelyn Deuber; Diane’s brother: Dennis Thompson; Jimmy’s brother: Ronnie Dixon and wife Cheryl and their beloved furbabies: Mitzi, Zoey and Prissy. They were preceded in death by their parents Wilbur C. Thompson and Elizabeth Thompkins Thompson and William Allen Dixon and Johnnie Sue Walden Dixon.

The funeral service will be held Friday, November 19, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Bill Harrell officiating. Interment will be private.
