James "Bert" Stephens Jr.

North Augusta, SC – Entered into rest on Monday, July 19, 2021, James “Bert” Welbert Stephens, Jr. 63, husband of 38 years to Mrs. Mary Jane Stephens.

Bert was a longtime resident of North Augusta, SC. A loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather whose smiling face touched all that knew him. Bert’s love will live in the hearts of his wife, children, and grandchildren forever. He will never be forgotten, and his heart will be with all that knew him.

Family members in addition to his wife include his daughter: April Emery (Patrick); sons: Fred Hucksam (Crystal) and Cody Stephens (Whitney); six grandchildren; brother: Philip Stephens; one niece and one nephew.

The graveside service will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
