Katharine Spence

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, December 24, 2019, Vera Katharine Spence, 99, loving wife of the late Samuel George Spence.

Katharine is survived by her children: Virginia Murphy, Samuel G. Spence, Jr. (Carol), Patricia Murphy (David); ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Samuel, she is preceded in death by her son, Billy Spence.

A graveside services will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Don Prosser officiating. Pallbearers will include Samuel George Spence III, Nathan Beene, Matthew Steven Murphy, Nicholas Steven Murphy, Conor Steven Murphy, and Zackary David Harris.
