Kathryn "Kay" Capizzi

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ms. Kathryn Patricia “Kay” Capizzi, age 84.

Kay was a native of Stockton, NJ. She worked as a medic in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years as an X-Ray Technician. She also worked as a Radiologic Technologist at Gracewood State School and Hospital. She attended Saint Joseph’s and St. Michaels Catholic Church and was a member of Augusta Alliance for Homeowners. She enjoyed spending her time volunteering at Habitat for Humanity.

She is survived by her brother, William E. Clark and sister-in-law, Heidi.

The funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Van Alstine as celebrant. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
