Augusta, GA – Svetlana “Lana” Gerhardt, 70, entered into rest Monday, May 17, 2021.

Lana worked for over 30 years at Burger King before retiring as Manager in 2018. She enjoyed volunteering at the soup kitchen, going to the beach and cruises. She also loved animals and took in many strays. Lana was quick witted, had a great sense of humor and was a simple person who appreciated the simple things in life. She loved her family and spending time with them and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family members include her children: Alberta McGrath, Larry Peebles (Donna), John Gerhardt, and Sarah Bailey (Shawn); 11 grandchildren; sister: Donna Saxon (Samuel); and many extended family members.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Fr. Solomon Kaanan officiating.
