Linda Flanigan Chavis

Linda Flanigan Chavis, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday August 5, 2021.

Linda was a loving wife and mother. She was married to Thomas Flanigan for 29 years until Thomas went to his heavenly home in 1988 and to Bruce Chavis for 11 years until his passing in 2013. Linda is survived by her two sons, Greg Flanigan (Robyn) and Derrick Flanigan, her seven grandchildren, Cole Flanigan (Hannah), Morgan Maddix (Hunter), Blair Flanigan, Channing Rumbaugh (Jonathan), Logan Flanigan (Holly), Ashton Flanigan, Raegin Flanigan, one great granddaughter, Arianna Rumbaugh, one sister, Jackie Guilbeau (Ralph), one brother-in-law Bobby Anthony (Kay) and three nephews.

Linda was also preceded in death by her mother and father, J.O. and Louella Kinley.

Linda was a member of West Acres Baptist church where she was involved in the senior ministries and Golden Tones.

A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday August 7, 2021 at West Acres Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with the Pastors Larry Harmon and Malone Morris officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service beginning at 12:30pm at the church. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Cemetary, Grovetown, Ga. Pallbearers will be Mike Guilbeau, Mark Guilbeau, Shane Guilbeau, Denny Mack, George Zumbro, and Doug Spires
