Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, Lottie Helinski Petry, 95, wife of the late Walter Petry.

Lottie moved to Augusta in 1977 from Newark, NJ. She retired as a Laboratory Services Medical Transcriptionist from the VA Hospital. In her spare time, Lottie enjoyed music and singing. Her sons, grandsons and great grandchildren were the loves of her life.

Family members include her sons: Mark (Robin) Petry and Karl (Dr. Sueli) Petry; grandsons: Andrew (Jamie) Petry, Michael (Caitlin) Petry; great grandchildren: Jonathan Petry and Karolina Petry; and nieces: Diana (Ron) Sulewski, Marlene Watson and many more caring nieces and nephews in Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her husband: Walter Petry and her brothers: Wally, Tony and Ted and her sister: Eleanor.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Fr. David Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
