Lucille “Lou” Pogue
Augusta, GA - Entered into rest on Friday, June 11, 2021, Lucille Neaton “Lou” Pogue, 90, wife of the late Richard E. “Dick” Pogue.

Lou was born in Watertown, MN and graduated from Watertown High School and later lived in Minneapolis. She moved to Augusta in 1969. She earned her master’s degree from MCG Nursing School and after a long nursing career she retired as Director of Staff Development at MCG. Lou was an avid golfer and a former member of West Lake Country Club where she was a club champion. Lou and Dick enjoyed traveling. She dearly loved her grandchildren.

She was a member of Saint Mary on the Hill Catholic Church where she was a
Eucharistic Minister and participated in Perpetual Adoration for 15 years.

Family members include her daughter: Kimberly Thomas (Bernie); sons: Mark Pogue (Carol Lee), James Pogue; grandchildren: Logan C. Pogue and Corey L. Pogue.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Fr. Solomon Kaanan as celebrant. The family will receive friends Friday, beginning at 1:15 P.M. at the church. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
