Marcia Christie

Marcia June (Hartel) Christie born March 11, 1937 in Chicago, IL and graduated this life on September 4, 2021 in Augusta, GA at age 84. She was the daughter of the late Harry Hartel and the late Irene Adelaide Munter. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Marcia was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 55 years, Charles (Chuck) Cody Christie, Sr., and her brother, Harry Francis (Frank) Hartel. She is survived by her son: Chuck (Gabriela) of Norfolk, VA; daughter: Linda, of Augusta, grandchildren: Cody and Jordan of Norfolk, and Will of Virginia Beach, VA, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Family held a special place in her heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, 1330 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904 (706-738-8822) on October 8th at 300 PM ET. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trinity on the Hill piano fund would be appreciated.
