Marion J. "Joey" Morris

Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, Mrs. Marion J. “Joey” Morris, 77, wife of 58 years to Mr. Richard L. Morris.

A native of Augusta, Joey was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a supportive military spouse and active with Disabled Veterans of America and a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Joey enjoyed working with charities and had a heart for all animals. She also had a passion for collecting anything having to do with M&Ms.

Family members in addition to her husband include her son: Mark Morris; daughter: Jennifer Oehrlein; grandchildren: Brandon Morris, Jenna Morris and Kayla Oehrlein; siblings: Marshall Kitchens, Janice Harden and Linda Kitchens; special niece: Jennie Harden and other loving family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Geneva Kitchens and seven siblings.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Keith Bartlett officiating.
