Martha Lown Seward

Augusta, Ga- Martha Lown Seward, age 82, went to be with her Lord on June 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents: R. Kenneth and Mary Alice Lown and her daughter: Danielle Seward-Horne. She is survived by her children: Buck (Ellen) Seward of Huntsville, AL; Elizabeth Seward of Charlotte, NC; her grandson: Dane (Casey) Seward of Christiansburg, VA; her siblings: Bob (Brenda) Lown of Columbia, SC; Carol (Bob) Clark of North Augusta, SC; John (Toya) Lown of Winchester, VA; and sister-in-law: Carol S. Lown of Harrisonburg, VA. She is also survived by her beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and dear family friends. Martha until she retired, was an Interior Decorator at Park Avenue Fabrics on Walton Way and enjoyed being able to create beautiful spaces. She was also an avid artist and loved to create art with multiple mediums.
The family visitation will be held in the sanctuary of Christ Church Presbyterian – 4201 Southern Pines Dr. Evans, GA at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 19, 2021, with the memorial service held at 11:00 A.M. Martha requests that spring/summer colors be worn as this is a celebration of her life and her arrival in her Father’s kingdom. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation to a favorite charity be made.
