Nell Williford

Augusta, GA - Entered into rest on Monday, April 25, 2022. Mrs. Nellie Ruth Williford, 92, wife of the late Mr. Ben Williford was a native of Gibson, Georgia and lived the majority of her life in Augusta. She was a loving wife, mother and prayer warrior who sought to have a close relationship with her heavenly Father. She was a pianist for many years at Silvercrest Baptist Church and Freedom Fellowship. She also worked for many years in the family business. To have known her, you knew her love for God and her family.

Family members include her children: Billy Williford (Denise), Keith Williford (Pennie), Don Williford (Darlene) and Marchelle Ramos (Bennie); grandchildren: William Williford, Nathan Williford, Melissa Bailey, Kelley Pope, Blake Williford, April Waldron, Austin Williford, Kaylee Mealing, Lindsay Ramos, Lauren Ramos and Brandon Busby; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Nell was preceded in death by her son Bruce Williford. Special thanks to her caregivers, Tracy Robinson, Tanjeneka McClattie along with Karen, Qiana, Vanessa and Jamaica.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, May 2, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. David Ritchey officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
