Patricia Cooney

Chicago, IL – Entered into rest on Sunday, August 7, 2022, Patricia Cooney, 87, daughter of the late John Patrick and Nancy Oldham Cooney. Patricia grew up in Augusta and was a longtime member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church before moving to Chicago, where she became a lifetime fan of her beloved Chicago Cubs.

Patricia was preceded in death by her sisters, Dudley Cooney and Nancy Cooney Lewis; and her aunt, Marjorie Cooney. She is survived by her niece, Bess Lewis; nephew, John (Linda) P. Cooney Lewis; great nephew, Patrick (Taylor Condit) Lewis; great niece, Mary Lewis; and great-great niece, Hallie Condit-Lewis.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:30 a.m.
