Patricia H. Hardy

Entered into rest December 5, 2018, Mrs. Patricia Hughes Hardy, 76, wife of the late Henry F. Hardy.
Mrs. Hardy was a native of Augusta where she graduated from Richmond Academy in 1959. A woman of strong Christian faith, she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Augusta and the Nova Sunday School Class. Mrs. Hardy loved singing and was a member of the Augusta Choral Society and the church choir. She will be remembered as a loving, generous and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving family members include sons: Harold Eugene Hardy (Marie), Michael Fulcher Hardy (Misti) and Mark Alan Hardy; daughters: Karen Hardy Bugg (David), Pamela Hardy Doss (Harry), Charlotte Denise Hardy (David Price) and Amanda Louise Hardy; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother: James Hughes; step-brother: Darrell Flanigan; sisters-in-law: Sandra Hughes and Clair Goen and brother-in-law: Bobby Hardy. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents: Leroy Hughes and Annie Mae Flanigan and infant son: Steven Lamar Hardy.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Rodger Murchison and Rev. Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
