Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Robert “Robbie” Donovan Mackelburg, 27.

Robbie was a heavy equipment operator for Sample and Son, Inc. and a GFSTC certified Fire Fighter with the State of Georgia. He graduated from Greenbrier High School, class of 2011 and enjoyed hunting, snowboarding, golf, and wakeboarding. Robbie especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for his old dog, Jack.

Family members include his loving parents: William and Paula Mackelburg; sister: Brooke Mackelburg; maternal grandparents: Lorrell and Shirley Cooper; grandfather: Johnny Saczynski and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Robert and Sally Mackelburg.

A memorial service will be Sunday, January 31, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors.
