Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, Robert V. Held, 93, husband of the late Margaret “Peggy” Dodd Held and father of Deborah Ann Held and the late Graham Christian Held.
Bob was born in Richland, Indiana, served in the US Army and spent many years in Lincolnton, GA before moving to Martinez, GA. He was a pharmacist at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center before retiring. Bob and Peggy loved traveling after retirement.
A graveside service will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport, Indiana. Boultinghouse Funeral Home is in charge of the service.
