SHAUN ALEXANDER LINDSEY
Manassas, VA – Shaun Alexander Lindsey, 21, entered into rest Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
Shaun had a unique God-given ability to love anyone, regardless of age, color, or ability. His ear to ear smile was ready for all and could change the demeanor of a room full of people. He dropped perfectly placed sarcasm effortlessly into conversation, bringing joy to all around him. Despite his circumstances of physical pain and weakness, Shaun lived with contagious joy. His simple faith drew many around him closer to the God Shaun lived to worship. When he wasn’t drumming to his favorite Toby Mac album, Shaun loved bowling, fly fishing, and connecting with friends over video games. May he continue to bring contagious joy to us as we remember the way he lived and loved, and may he be overflowing with joy as he spends eternity praising his Savior, fully healed and whole.
Family members include: parents, Greg and Michelle Lindsey; maternal grandparents: Gary and Sara Molen; paternal grandparents: Jeanne and the late Fr. Lou Lindsey, Jr.; siblings: Ashley Marsh (Christopher), Thomas Lindsey, Keisha Lindsey, Haley Lindsey, Faith Lindsey; nieces and nephews: Henry Marsh, Lizzy Marsh, and Charlotte Lindsey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:30 P.M. at the Alleluia Community Gym in Augusta, GA with Bob Nestor officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 2:00 until 2:30 P.M. at the Alleluia Community Gym.
Interment will follow at the Alleluia Cemetery in Dearing, GA. Pallbearers will be Bob Harmon, Sam Painter, Mike Lindsey, John Lindsey, Christopher Marsh, Richard Marsh and Kevin Molen. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Jackson, Joey Martin and Ken Wells.
An additional celebration of Shaun’s life will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at Columbia Baptist Church, 103 W. Columbia St., Falls Church, VA 22046.
